Our team spans marine biology, deep-sea ecology, artificial intelligence, data science, habitat modelling, fisheries management policy, and international law. We believe the best conservation science happens through collaboration. Our team includes researchers from universities and institutes across Europe, Africa, and South America, along with partners in government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and international bodies. Together, we’re building the knowledge base and tools needed to safeguard Atlantic cold-water corals for future generations.

Professor of Deep-Sea Ecology

Professor of deep-sea ecology – Plymouth Marine Laboratory and University of Plymouth. April 2024 – present. Research focused on sustainable management of the deep-sea ecosystem including cold water corals, predictive habitat mapping and modelling.
