- Professor in the Oceanography program at University of ‘Vale do Itajaí’ – Polytechnic School since 1997. Teaching: Ecology, Nectology and Fishery Science.
- Professor in the Environmental Science and Technology Graduate Program at University of ‘Vale do Itajaí’ – Polytechnic School since 1997. Teaching: Fisheries Science, Climate Change (Coast and Ocean).
- Worked on habitat mapping and characterization of deep sea communities of South Atlantic continental margin, seamounts and ridges.
- Worked on impact assessments of fisheries on deep sea stocks, habitats and communities off Brazil.
- Editorial Board Member of the Journal “Deep Sea Research Part I” since 2019
